Principal Message -

Beginning of the year testing has been going well.  The testing days allowed our teachers to gather important data on students so we can best support their academic needs.  Our staff will engage in analysing the data as grade level teams.  Some grade levels will group students of similar academic standings for WIN in order to meet them where they are at and then extend or reteach concepts as needed.  WIN time is not for teaching new material.  It is time to work with students on current material to help them grasp concepts.

While the driveline may seem congested, we (families and staff) are doing better and better everyday with getting kids in and out of cars fast, but with safety in mind.  Continue to pay attention to the staff in the vests as we assist drivers through the lines.

As we continue to move through September, there are some dates to highlight below:

Monday - 7th- No school

  • Labor Day

Wednesday  9th

  • Community connection- Coffee with the principal in the conservatory at 8:30am.

Tuesday - 15th

  • Van Gogh Picture Day - flyers are coming home in Monday folders.
