JagCare (before/after school) for the 2025-2026 school year. Students enrolled at JA in grades Kindergarten - 6th grade are eligible to apply.  Students that are currently enrolled in JagCare are given priority for next year. Please refer to the priority list in the application. Forms must be submitted by March 14, 2025 by 3:30 p.m.   A lottery will be held and families will be contacted beginning in April. Jag Care provides JA students with before and after school care in a safe, structured environment that encourages academic growth and social development. 

We are only licensed for 48 children in this program. At this time, we do not  have an option to expand Jag Care. Students enrolled in JagCare have the option of returning each school year, according to the Enrollment Priority below. A lottery is held each spring for any remaining openings.

3.  Returning JA Elementary JagCare students from the 2024-2025 school year, including incoming siblings, needing 4-5 morning sessions each week.

4.  New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 same-day morning and afternoon sessions each week.

5. New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 afternoon sessions each week.

6.  New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 morning sessions each week.

7  All those needing 1-3 same-day morning and afternoon sessions each week.

2024-2025 School year: Before: 6:30 - 7:45 a.m. After: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Non-School Days: 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

We will need a minimum of twenty students signed up on non-school days to provide care.

There is one time per school year registration fee of $50.

We offer a 10% discount for families enrolling multiple siblings and children of staff members (Families are eligible for only one discount.)

Summer is a time for cooperative activities, field trips, play with friends, working on projects and more. JagCare is a Colorado licensed child care center which provides before and after school care, specified all-day care and half-day care to students enrolled at Jefferson Academy Elementary School in a safe, structured environment that encourages academic growth and social and emotional development.

JagCare plans intentionally for active and play based learning experiences.

Program Operation

The hours of operation during summer are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. June 2, 2025 - August 1, 2025.

Registration will begin on January 3, 2025

The form to register will be available on January 3, 2025. Enrollment for summer programs is open to current Jefferson Academy Elementary students.
