Spring Break - March 23 - March 30. Students and staff return to school on Tuesday, March 31. Wednesday, April 1 is a late start day. We hope everyone enjoys the much deserved break. Thank you for your continued support.
Dress Code Reminder - As the warmer weather arrives, we are beginning to experience a rise in student clothing that does not meet the dress code. Please reference the dress code in the family handbook. Thank you for your assistance.
Colorado Measure Academic of Success (CMAS) Testing - Students in 3rd - 6th grade will begin testing on Monday, April 6. Here is a link for the complete schedule. Please avoid taking your student out during their testing time. Students that are ill should remain home and will be able to do makeup testing. Students arriving late after testing has started will need to remain in the office until their class is finished testing.
2026-2027 School Year - Please contact Shelly Cohen at 720-728-6162, if your student is not returning to JA next school year (unless you already have). This will enable us to accommodate students on our waiting list.

Mileage Club: We kick off the spring season April 2 right when we get back from Spring Break! Sign up to track laps and cheer on the kids while they run laps during lunch recess. We meet on the track from 11:05-12:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting. Younger siblings are welcome to join and if you only have an hour, we need the most help from 11:05-12:00. Join the Fun!
Butterbraids - Correction to last week's newsletter - All Butterbraids will be sent home with students on Thursday, April 2. This is just in time for Easter!! (If you have a large order please make arrangements to pick up your Butterbraids on April 2.)
Community Socials - A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Red Robin Community Social! Because of your support, we raised $244.81 for Jefferson Academy PTO! We’re so grateful for our amazing families, staff, and supporters who continue to show up for our school. And a special thank-you to Red Robin for partnering with us and giving back to the JA community. Join us for our next Community Social on Wednesday, April 22 at Noodles and Company.
