School News
We wish everyone a safe and wonderful holiday break. Students will return on Tuesday, January 6. We will NOT have a late start on Wednesday, January 7.
Open Enrollment - December 2, 2025 - January 9, 2026 - This is for families not currently enrolled at JA, or if you have an incoming preschool or kindergarten student for the 2026-2027 school year, you must submit an application. Applications must be submitted in EnrollJeffco beginning December 2. Please share this information with neighbors, family and friends that may be interested in attending JA. You do not need to submit an application for students currently attending JA. 6th grade students will automatically be enrolled at JA Secondary.
Current families have received an email from Jefferson County Schools to login to EnrollJeffco and confirm that they are returning to JA or have the option to apply to other schools. If you have not completed this process, you will receive another email from the district in January when we return from the holiday break. Please respond to that email. Along with confirming your enrollment, you will also need to review/revise your personal information (address, phone numbers, etc.). All students will be automatically enrolled into JA next year, unless we are notified by the family or another school that the student is transferring.
2026 - 2027 School Year - If you know your student will not be returning to JA this coming school year, please notify Shelly Cohen at scohen@jajags.com or 720-728-6162. We will begin filling any openings for this coming school year at the end of January.
