JagCare (before/after school) for the 2025-2026 school year. Students enrolled at JA in grades Kindergarten - 6th grade are eligible to apply. Students that are currently enrolled in JagCare are given priority for next year. Please refer to the priority list in the application. Forms must be submitted by March 14, 2025 by 3:30 p.m. A lottery will be held and families will be contacted beginning in April. Late submissions will be placed on a waiting list. Link
Grandparents' Day - Kindergarten students will participate in this musical event on Friday, April 4 at 10:00 a.m. in the big gym. Kindergarten students (only) will be dismissed after the program or need to be picked up by 11:30 a.m. Students in grades 1st - 6th grade have a full day of school. Parents, grandparents and special guests are welcome to attend. Due to capacity older siblings will not be pulled out of class to attend this event. Should you choose to take older siblings out of school after the event, you must go to the office to have them paged out of class. Parking is available in the east and west parking lot, and the church lot. Do not park on 99th Ave. If you or someone in your group needs handicap seating, please call Shelly Cohen at 720-728-6162.
CMAS testing - CMAS (Colorado Measure of Academy Success) Grades 3rd - 6th grade will participate in these assessment tests April 7 - April 14. 5th grade will test through April 17. Please avoid taking your student out during their testing time. Students that are ill should stay home and will make up the test(s) when they return.

Butterbraid Sale Opens March 24, 2025 - This year's PTO Butterbraid sale will officially open on Monday, March 24th (online) and paper order forms will come home on March 25th. Be on the lookout! The orders will be due by April 8th. NO CASH will be accepted this year. All items need to be ordered online, or paid via check. Butterbraids will be sent home with students on Thursday, April 17, 2025. (alternate pick-up arrangements will be made for large orders.)
Family Movie Night / WatchJAGS Kick-off (Redo from Feb. Snow Day) - Our final Family Movie Night of the year will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025. It will be open to ALL GRADES. We will also share information about our WatchJAGS program, and serve FREE PIZZA to those who sign-up! The featured movie will be The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) - which follows Brooklyn plumbers Mario & Luigi as they get warped to the magical Mushroom Kingdom. Family Movie Night is a free event, but an RSVP is required. All JAE Students - PreK - 6th Grade (and their immediate family members) are invited to attend.
Mileage Club is back! Let’s get those kids up and moving. Starting Tuesday March 25, join us on the track every Tuesday and Thursday (weather permitting). This club does rely on parent volunteers so please consider signing up with the link provided. Sign Up Link
Mark Your Calendar for Timehop - Friday April 11, 2025 - What is Timehop? Timehop is JA Elementary's Spring All-School Social event. With a theme spanning all the decades from the 1950's through Today, (costumes highly encouraged!) Timehop is an opportunity for JAE families to enjoy time together with school friends! There will be a DJ playing music from across the decades, fun carnival games to play, face painters and balloon twisters to enjoy and a few fundraisers - including a Concession Stand, Sweet Street (aka Cake Walk) and Jaguar Jackpot - to help our 5th graders raise money to attend Outdoor Lab next fall. Tickets will go on sale after Spring Break. Be on the look-out for more information coming to your child's Monday Folder soon! We hope to see you there!
Teacher Appreciation Week - Help Requested - Our Hospitality Crew is looking for a few people to help plan Teacher Appreciation Week the first week of May. (We already have an amazing Lead - she is just looking for some additional assistance.)
