JagCare (before/after school) for the 2025-2026 school year. Students enrolled at JA in grades Kindergarten - 6th grade are eligible to participate in this program. Our program for this school year is full with a waiting list. Please contact Karoline Corcoran at 303-669-9140 for more information.

Jag Care provides JA students with before and after school care in a safe, structured environment that encourages academic growth and social development. 

We are licensed for 48 children in this program. We have purchased the church adjacent to the school (7777 W 99th PL). Our intention is to expand our JagCare program once the facility become available and we are able to increase staff to meet the required ratio.

In the spring, students currently in JagCare are given priority for the coming school year. A lottery is held for the remaining openings according to the enrollment priority list below.

1.  Returning JA Elementary JagCare students from the previous 2024-2025 school year, including incoming siblings needing 4-5 same-day morning and afternoon sessions each week.

2.  Returning JA Elementary JagCare students from 2024-2025 school year, including incoming siblings needing 4-5 afternoon sessions each week.

3.  Returning JA Elementary JagCare students from the 2024-2025 school year, including incoming siblings, needing 4-5 morning sessions each week.

4.  New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 same-day morning and afternoon sessions each week.

5. New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 afternoon sessions each week.

6.  New students to JA Elementary JagCare needing 4-5 morning sessions each week.

7  All those needing 1-3 same-day morning and afternoon sessions each week.

8.  All those needing 1-3 same-day afternoon sessions each week.

2025-2026 School year: Before: 6:30 - 7:45 a.m. After: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Non-School Days: 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Late Start Days 6:30 a.m. -9:45 a.m.

We will need a minimum of twenty students signed up on non-school days to provide care.

There is one time per school year registration fee of $50.

We offer a 10% discount for families enrolling multiple siblings and children of staff members (Families are eligible for only one discount.)

Summer is a time for cooperative activities, field trips, play with friends, working on projects and more. JagCare is a Colorado licensed child care center which provides before and after school care, specified all-day care and half-day care to students enrolled at Jefferson Academy Elementary School in a safe, structured environment that encourages academic growth and social and emotional development.

JagCare plans intentionally for active and play based learning experiences.

Program Operation

The hours of operation during summer are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Dates for summer of 2026 TBD.

Registration will begin in January for the summer of 2026

Enrollment for summer programs is open to current Jefferson Academy Elementary students. JagCare is licensed to supervise children between 5 years of age up to 12 years of age. 

Fees

- Supply Fee $100 per student

-  Single Day Enrollment -- $50.00

-   5 Day Weeks -- $225.00

-   Drop-In Fees are an additional $5.00 per day
