Sara Croxall

scroxall@jajags.com

Hi! I am Miss Sara and I am the Occupational Therapist at Jefferson Academy. I graduated in 2014 from Washington University in St. Louis with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and I have been working at JA since 2017. As the school OT, I have the privilege of supporting students of all abilities to help them develop the fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills necessary for success in their academic setting. As a bonus, I also get to oversee the school’s "Motor Room", a resource available to all JA students who may benefit from structured movement and sensory-based activities and designed to promote engagement and learning.

I grew up in Chicago, but once these mountains called, I just couldn’t leave...but don't worry, I remain a die-hard Chicago sports fan! I’ve been married since 2019, and my husband and I have two amazing human children (3 and 1 year old) and the best doggo---all who keep life busy, joyful, and full of adventure! When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me hiking, skiing, reading with my book club, or baking something sweet to share. I love working with students of all abilities at JA and look forward to another wonderful year!
