Principal Message - 

I hope everyone had a great week.  We are gearing up for a few exciting weeks.  6th grade will be heading to Outdoor Education on Monday and will return on Thursday the 24th, lots of Johnny Appleseed fun in kindergarten next Thursday, and our 4th grade band is heading on a fun field trip on Tuesday the 28th.  Additionally, we are making some changes to our library in order to develop a better flow and allow for additional space for upper grades for researching purposes.  Over the next week, we will be looking for some volunteers to help with this project and our new librarian aide, Mrs. Jill Wolfe.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help shelve books and keep our library organized and welcoming. Your time makes a difference and helps our students enjoy a wonderful library experience. If you are interested please sign up using this link:

 As we continue to move through September, there are some dates to highlight below:

  • 6th grade students will be at Outdoor Lab from September 21st - 24th.

  • No School for students September 25th

  • October 1st is October count day. 

  • Boosterthon FUN RUN is on Friday October 9th.  

  • Fall Guardian/Teacher Conferences are Thursday October 15th and Friday October 16th.  As a reminder, there is no school for students on BOTH days.  Conferences on Thursday will begin at 12:30pm.

  • There is no school on Monday October 19th.

 After meeting with some families at the most recent “Coffee with the Principal” and with our neighbors at the recent neighborhood meeting, I want to reiterate the importance of safe driving while coming onto and leaving  our campus.  Please obey the stop signs.  When leaving the south parking lot, remember to stop at the stop sign and make sure that a car coming is entering our facility.   A few accidents almost happened as cars came out in front of a neighbor's car who was just driving past the school to go home.  Please be cautious and respect the signs as well as the speed limits within our neighborhood.
